Mustang, a world leader in oil and gas project management, engineering and procurement, has teamed with Sime Darby to form a new company, Mustang Sime Darby, to offer a full range of services to the Southeast Asian oil and gas industry. Mustang Sime Darby is well established in Kuala Lumpur with full multi-disciplinary project teams executing a variety of exciting offshore projects.
Employing 5,000 people worldwide and backed by its parent, Wood Group, an international energy services provider, Mustang is noted for its technical excellence, experienced project management, innovation, robust data management systems and predictable project outcomes. Mustang has provided the engineering design for topsides production facilities on many of the world’s most recognized projects including Thunder Horse, Tahiti, Mad Dog, Blind Faith and the Agbami FPSO. Mustang additionally designed the two compliant-piled tower fixed structures, Benguela Belize and Tombua Landana, operating in approximately 1,500 feet of water offshore West Africa.
