MMC Oil and Gas Engineering Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of MMC Corporation Bhd was formed in 1984 to provide complete engineering design services to the oil & gas and petrochemical industries.

The services cover primarily the following areas:

• Design Engineering of offshore oil & gas production and processing facilities
• Design Engineering of onshore receiving facilities and loading terminals
• EPCC projects of facilities

Our Head Office is located at Unit 1-1, Ground Floor of Menara Promenade in Kuala Lumpur with flexibility to expand to meet project requirement. We also have a satellite office in Kerteh, (Terengganu), Miri (Sarawak), and one overseas branch in Jakarata (Jakarta).

MMC O&G has enjoyed a steady growth since inception, with staff numbering over 460 people, comprising experienced engineers, draughtspersons and support personnel.

PROPOSAL ENGINEER 

 Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities:

* To do research on potential business and current customers by actively participate and membership in networking organisation i.e. MOGEC, MOGSC, OGA, OSFAM etc.

* To assist in the preparation and coordination of proposals and tenders including obtaining engineering, estimating and procurement information.

* Monitoring of cost through the implementation of the job by engineering for future reference.

* Co-ordinate Client responses to all queries during and after Bid period.

* Participate in Clarification and negotiation meetings during the Bidding phase of a project and ensure completeness of Bids.

* Preparation and supervision of techno-comemrcial proposal and techno-proposal team from begining of bid to handing over to Engineering

* To manage relationships with key executives in client and prospective organisation and utilise these relationships to enhance overall business development efforts.

* To ensure compliance with company quality standards and where necessary assist with the development of new procedures, standards and practise.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Engineering

* At least 2 to 3 years of experience in proposal preparation in Business Development with significant exposure to the Off-shore Oil & Gas industry.

* Have a good writing and communication skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

* Knowledge in Computer is essential.

* Willing to travel locally and internationally.

* Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
