Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) wants to become a regional leadership learning hub by 2013, helped by its newly-launched facility known as Petronas Leadership Centre (PLC).
Petronas president and CEO Datuk Shamsul Azhar Abbas said PLC, formerly known as Petronas Management Training Centre (Permata), caters to the leadership development needs of corporate and industry players in Malaysia and abroad.
"With the vision to be the leadership centre that transforms leaders, PLC places the highest importance on creating leaders who are able to produce impactful, sustainable results for their organisations," he said at the launch here yesterday.
His speech was read out by Petronas executive vice-president for gas and power business Datuk Anuar Ahmad.
